A butterfly magnet! The fragrant nectar of this carefree, drought tolerant perennial attracts butterflies. Clusters of star-shaped flowers are produced from early July through August followed by milkweed-type seed pods that are great for dried arrangements. Umbrella-shaped plants tolerate poor, sandy soils. Height can vary from 18 to 36 inches. They are slow to appear in spring, so mark their location well.
